Why is suicide wrong?

Why is it that we view suicide is wrong. We don't mind people quitting other things in life, so why not quit life altogether. I haven't found that people who are agaeuthanasiade and euthanasia are also universally against things like divorce or abortion. Why do we care that much what someone else does with their life?
