Im so confused, I was told to go on this pill because of the low levels of the male horemone (that women naturaly produce) as this is what commonly causes acne. From looking at the lable though, it as higher levels of this hormone Levonorgestrel compared to Eithinylestral. I dont understand how this would help my acne? will someone please explain? We put animals "down" why not people?

I don't really agree with euthanasia for the most part but if the animal is old & going through an extremely painful experience that will last the remainder of their live (like some cancers), it would be the write thing (in most cases). It seems like people put their pets "down" for the stupidest reason sometimes too. So if a person is in a similar situation, I don't see why we couldn't (upon their request) put them "down" like with the animals, sometimes it would be the right thing to do, but we draw it out and make them suffer, just wanna see how some people respond to get a better idea of peoples opinion on this.

i've been thinking of a stargate and 24 crossover. the asgard who's a dying race needs 24 hours to get back some technology they need to save their race. this technology if misused could destroy a whole galaxy. they materialize jack bauer straight from the show because they know he's good( and he doesn't know he's an actor). he materializes in a holding cell not knowing he's in an asgard ship. and then the asgard teleports sg-1 into the ship and tells them to debrief jack about the situation but not tell him he's not a real person and only a copy of a tv show character. jack thought it was like the most ridiculous interrogation he's ever had and tries to get away, and surprisingly, was even able to subdue Teal'c. he gets out of the room and was shocked in seeing the ship with earth visible outside. he wanders around and ran into some naked asgard. he's like "what the hell, I'm definitely not in chinese prison anymore". He realizes sg-1 is telling the truth and agrees to help.

No it isn't working, or at least it isn't working well! And I actually think that banning drugs is worse for society as it means drugs are being mixed with all sorts of stuff to make the weight heavier! Whereas if they were legal, only the purest of the pure would be sold! It would also help the economy with the tax that would be charged on the drugs! Also similarly to when alcohol was banned in the 1920s in the USA crime rates are extremely high because of this ban on drugs, and various gang wars are forming and this all revolves around drugs and if they were legal, there would be no need for some of the gangs In the world and crime rate would fall...also surveys suggest that the reason a lot of teenagers take drugs is because they like the thrill from doing something illegal and they are probably less likely to take drugs if they are legal! You should first get a second opinion. And a positive TB test only means that you have been exposed to TB, not that you have it. And it only means that. You have to get a chest xray form then out every year instead of a TB shot. You also could just have a bad reaction to it. My body doesnt like it in my right arm. I recently bought a poodle puppy and he has been very good, quick to learn and affectionate. He sleeps fine and doesnt even whimper much at all. He knows to go to sleep when the lights go out and generally doesnt wake up till the morning. Suddenly yesterday night he wakes up from sleeping and starts to growl, snap and bark at us. I went to see what was wrong and he kept barking, yelping and backing away from me dragging his two hind legs with him. Everytime i tried to pat or comfort him he would do that. I couldnt tell if he was being aggressive or scared or in pain. Though looking at him was heartbreaking because to me he looked so scared. I'm a senior in high school, and so is this guy. We've been pseudo-dating since the beginning of the year, but due to our conflicting schedules we only see each other twice a week or so. Bleeding in 31 yr old male?

Hi! I need advice for my 31 yr old brother. About 6 mos-1 year ago, his starting bleeding like a normal hemorrhoid would. No biggy b/c it was not that much blood, just an average amount. For the last couple of weeks, he has a pain about 5 inches up from his rectum. Everytime he has a b.m., blood pours out. The blood is like a purple to black color. He is in severe pain when he makes a b.m. He went for a colonoscopy yesterday and they couldnt complete the test because he was in so much pain. They said they have to send him somewhere that can put him under first. Well he thinks the drs set something off from yesterday b/c today when he has a b.m., he is gushing what seems to be like lots of cups of black/purple blood. He went to do the ER tonight and they sent him home after his blood work came back normal. Has anyone ever heard of this and what can he do to help it. He said he cries a lot in pain. He is overweight, drinks regularly and smokes (if that helps). Thanks for any help you can give.

Should faith healers be brought up on charges for failing to heal the sick and dying?

If a Doctor were to refuse emergency medical treatment for any reason, he'd go to jail. So when a faith healer is in town, why don't they go to the Pediatric Cancer ward and start healing the kids there instead of letting them die. I'm pretty sure you'll find some Christian kids there. I say that if they have the power to heal the sick and restore the dying, that for every one the let slip through their fingers they should face charges on. Unless of course their frauds and they're just faking it to scam people, then they should at least admit to what they're really doing.

Why is my dog so aggressive?

My American Eskimo Dog is usually calm and mellow. But today, while on a walk, she bit and killed a wild bird, we pulled her away quickly, so I don't think she consumed any. She was fine all day, but 10 minutes ago, she crawed under our bed ( something she does frequently), and when she came back out, she started acting aggressive when a guest tried to pet her, even though she's done it before, about 3 minutes before this time. Lola (dog) goes back under the bed and refuses to come out. We reached our hand under the bed and she attacked 3 times. We think she doesn't want to stay outdoors because we usually keep her there and she doesn't like it. What is wrong with her?

My dog is shaking, excessive drinking/peeing concentrated dark yellow, lost weight, eats well, can anyone help?

The urinalysis shows that the urine is not diluted, so the vet says no kidney/bladder disease. There's slight elevation of 2 liver enzymes (alt, ast). Blood tests came out normal. The only other abnormality is the orangish color of the urine which often indicates liver disease. But usually liver disease involves vomiting/diarrhea - none of which applies. No jaundice. The vet says that it couldn't be Cushings disease or a brain tumor because then the urine would be dilluted. My dog drinks at least 2 1/2 cups of water a day. I'm so frustrated to see my beautiful female English Pointer suffering from tremors, weakness, etc. She's only 8 years old, and has never had accidents in the house until recently. Also, sometimes she has trouble trying to sit down. Thanks for any help....

uming these are live fish and you intend to sell them that way, I wouldn't ask LESS than $5.00 per pound. Four pound trout should not be hard to sell at all. The salmon may be a bit more challenging. Call a few fish markets and see what you can find in that regard. It will be tougher to find someone willing to put saltwater salmon in a freshwater pound. The trout will be much easier to place. Even taxidermists would be attracted to the big trout if they are in excellent shape. Good luck.

Running with Achilles Tendinitis?

So here's my situation, just today I ran at my State Open Indoor Track Meet in two races (4x800 and 4x400). Yesterday my Achilles tendon started to bother me, but this being a very big meet I did not say anything to my coaches until AFTER my races today. Tuesday (3 days from now) I have another big meet called "Eastern States" that I really want to run in because we have a chance to do very well in the 4x800. The Achilles pain did not affect my actual race, but it does hurt when running normally, walking up stairs ect. Nationals is in about three weeks. Basically I want to get this thing as calmed down as I can for Tuesday THEN I can give it the rest it wants. What is the best way of going about this? Sitting this race out is a LAST RESORT. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been icing the crap out of it, taking lots of advil, and I will rest it tomorrow completely. Is there anything else I can do???

I was just tested for hypothyroidism. my TSH levels are 189.464 (result repeated & verified) how bad is this? My dr. said she had never seen a level like this. Would you put your dog down if without a doubt whatever he has IS terminal but they can't pinpoint exactly what it is? I'm second guessing our decision. All the vets we have gone to are convinced its one of 3 terminal illnesses/afflictions but all agree that the only way we could determine what it was is a necropsy (autopsy). Obviously we're not going to do that - if he's already going to be dead, who cares what it was. I'm only interested in the possibility of us figuring this out...

I know three Welsh rock/metal bands. There's a metal band called 'The Blackout', they are one of my favourites, they're really good. There's a heavier band called 'Bullet For My Valentine', who are just incredible. I, personally, don't like them, but they are very very good for their genre. And a band called Lostprophets. well to be honest i think about 24/7 and i am almost 17. It's just what we lads think about all the time. You need to be a little more laid back and not as strict with yourself. However you did say you didn't feel comfortable, the fact is nobody feels comfortable with have their first time, you are worried about what your partner will say and what they will think, the fact is if he loves you he will respect you and your body and won't make any criticisms because he loves you. 6 months is quite a long time without doing anything ual. i would not reccomend valplast for complete denture. i have not seen anyone using valplast for dentures. They wont feel or fit as comfortable. May not be rigid or strong enough to chew on them.

After reading your question I think we have lots in common. That is if you're bipolar and have a family that is cold and abusive. What helped me was medititation, just go to the local library and type in the search engine "meditation" and there are tons of books on that. It does really help! Makes you feel calm and in control, and you don't worry about what other people think of you because you are confident and at peace with yourself.

This is pretty common. It mostly happens to people who are very physical (sports, etc.). It's mainly replacing the affected joints and preventing bones from rubbing against each other. Fluorescent bulbs don't use as much energy as incandescent bulbs and you can even get fluorescent bulbs that mimic sunshine as opposed to your comment about "depressing light." I personally take umbrage at just about anything I am FORCED to embrace versus suggesting I embrace the idea, however, in this particular instance, I can see the good of it and will not take offense to being forced to make the switch. We had fluorescent light in our previous house and lived there 8 years without ever once changing a bulb. That's not something you can say about incandescent!

If you're happy there than stay. But if you don't plan on staying there forever than I would sell it now. If the area gets built up more & is mainly commercial you'll have a hard time selling it as a residential home, but you may be able to sell it as a commercial use building; if you sell now while there is still some residential buildings around you it might be easier. Of course given todays market it'll be hard to sell either way unless it's in tip top shape & move in ready AND you find someone willing to buy it. use the equity as a down payment on a new home then maybe rent this one is another option...but in the ned you just want to be sure you aren't stuck w/a home you can't sell at all because it's surrounded by businesses...

What's wrong with me?

When the tiniest thing happens, I always tend to blame it entirely on me and make it seem like I'm a terrible person, and I suddenly become overwhelm with this really intense guilt, like I don't deserve to be happy or anything. I can't explain it very well, but I want it to stop. I start thinking all these things, and my mind is just chaotic with all these outrageous thoughts. I tend to blow things way out of proportion and make it a big deal when really it shouldn't be, and I also do all this in secret, so I have all these bottled up feelings and it's really annoying. So if I am having fun I start thinking at the back of my head 'I shouldn't be having fun. I don't deserve to.' I just emotionally torture myself for no particular reason. I am 16 years old, and I am a pretty good student. I work hard and I get along really well with my family and have a close group of friends. I have now watched the YouTube video of the how the level is finished which is the level that requires you to make your way to the roof-top in Korea and then jump off the ledge and into the room across the street. In the video when he makes the jump and crashes into the room, the doctor is in the room too and then the level continues. I can currently make it to the rooftop and jump over into the next building but the doctor is not in the room with us like it shows on the YouTube video. Have I missed something in this level? There is no doctor with me at all. Maybe I ran through the level too quickly and accidently left the doctor behind but will he eventually catch up and jump through the window if I stand there in the room long enough or do I have to restart this level and make sure I stay with the doctor at all times.
