How difficult is it to get accepted into NYU?

I will be graduating next year and NYU is one of my top college choices. I have a 3.0 GPA, take AP cles, do mive amounts of volunteer work, have work experience, have done great in all of my cles, and do extra-curricular activites. However I am a little worried about my SAT scores. Does the SAT score determine admission or will the rest of my hardwork outweigh my score? Is their a good chance I can get in?
