Girls help me please!?

First of all, this is my sisters yahoo account. Anyway, last night she has a sleepover with 3 of her friends, and to have a little "Fun" they painted my fingers AND toes a hot pink, and put every type of makeup imaginable on me. I managed to get the makeup off, but i haven't got the nail polish off yet. I know i need nail polish remover, (i have a bottle of it in front of me) but i don't know how to use it! Please help!
