My friends mental state...?

Sounds like she has some kind of personality disorder. Often, people with personality disorders can be VERY intelligent. It's not clear why. I can't really tell what personality disorder it could be, though. I'm a psychology major and intended on becoming a psychiatrist. But my knowledge is limited.
