Zoology high school cles?

I am choosing what cles my daughter should take in high school and she wants to become a zoologist and/or a teacher. I am mostly concerned about zoology cles. My husband says that taking a PLTW cl will help but from what i believe that is technology not science. What cles would you recommend?
